Control Ultimate Edition, which contains the base game and all post-release DLC, is reduced to under £4 as part of the latest Steam sale.

This incredible offer represents a saving of 90%, which is an unbelievable bargain for such a fantastic game. As an added bonus, the game is also Verified for Steam Deck.

Indeed, from now until August 31, you can pick up Control Ultimate Edition for just £3.29 on Steam.

Developed by Alan Wake studio Remedy, Control made its debut for PS4, Xbox One and PC back in 2019.

On the surface it's your standard third-person shooter, albeit with a sci-fi twist. It takes place in a building known as The Oldest House, which is the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control.

The mysterious building is home to various paranormal items and events, not to mention upgrades that imbue players with powers like the ability to fly, fire projectiles and more.

After winning various game of the year awards in 2019, Control would be ported to PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2021.

Remedy would also release a couple of paid expansions for the game, which are available as part of the Ultimate Edition.

This includes the AWE story expansion, which actually ties into the Alan Wake series.

Remedy explains more: "A corruptive presence has invaded the Federal Bureau of Control... Only you have the power to stop it.

"The world is now your weapon in an epic fight to annihilate an ominous enemy through deep and unpredictable environments.

"Containment has failed, humanity is at stake. Will you regain control?"

Control Ultimate Edition typically costs £34.99 on PlayStation and Xbox, or £32.99 on Steam, so don't sleep on this deal.
