For many, robotic vacuum cleaners have become a must-have home gadget, offering automated cleaning while homeowners get on with other tasks. However, top-of-the-range robot vacuums can be costly, but we've spotted a cheaper option shoppers may want to consider.

The latest deal from Wowcher, has cut the price of the Smart Home Sweeping and Mopping Robot. This nifty device not only sweeps but also mops floors, smartly navigating itself around homes.

It even provides the option to schedule cleanings for when the house is empty, all while promising minimal noise. Now with a 78% discount, reducing the price from £199 to £45.

This makes it a more wallet-friendly alternative to some rival brands. To grab this deal, shoppers need to visit Wowcher's website, purchase the voucher, and redeem it with the retailer, reports Wales Online.

Robotic vacuum cleaners have soared in popularity over recent years, with brands like Eufy and Roborock gaining significant traction. Thanks to regular discounts during sales events such as Black Friday, owning a robot vacuum is becoming increasingly affordable.

Robot vacuum cleaners are advancing rapidly each day, spanning from basic sweeping models - such as the BowAI cleaner highlighted in this Wowcher deal - to cutting-edge self-emptying variants like the discounted Eufy L60. The Eufy model is now on sale for £100 less.

Nevertheless, it's sensible to consider alternative choices before committing to a purchase. As tech writer Chris Hall shares he's used 'robot vacuum cleaners for years, and the capacity to buy inexpensive replacement brushes and filters keeps their superb cleaning performance intact.'

The Eufy G50 robot vacuum cleaner has been slashed by £65, reducing it to £134.89 on Amazon - most remarkably, this Eufy features over 10,000 Amazon reviews with the vast majority giving five stars.

One buyer remarked: "Well worth the money as I have a cleaner home and less time consuming housework to do." The Eufy G50 offers basic cleaning functions, demanding frequent emptying of its built-in dust container.

However, Amazon provides £100 off the Roborock Q10 S5+, which at £299.99 comes with a docking station that automatically clears the bin, holding up to seven weeks' worth of debris to make cleaning even more hassle-free.

It also includes floor mopping features, and having previously utilised Roborock cleaners, I can personally vouch for the brilliance of their mapping technology. Roborock is a well-known brand, making spare parts readily available, with many customers praising this cleaner's efficiency.

One delighted customer exclaimed: "Wow, I've owned quite a few robot vacuums and now it's up and running I can happily say this is my best so far." Another satisfied customer stated: "It has saved me loads of time every day and the fact that it empties itself is a bonus."

However, a less content buyer remarked: "Vacuums well enough and you can tell where the mop has been so it appears to work really well. Only three stars given as I'm constantly having to reconnect the cleaner in the app."
